The first Wednesday in April is National Walking Day, when Americans of all ages are encouraged to get out, stretch their legs, and get their hearts pumping. So grab your friend or family member and take a walk!

Want some company? We will be walking at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery (meet at Gazebo) at 11:15am, after the Parkinson’s speaker, and at Penn State Behrend (meet at Logan House) at 5:30pm. Members and non-members welcome. In the event of rain, location will be changed to the Eastside YMCA track (non-members will need ID).

It’s time again to brush up on the lyrics to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”!

Seniors, catch the bus from Eastside YMCA on Wednesday, July 24th, for Senior Day at UPMC Park! The Seawolves game starts at 1:05 pm. For $20, you receive a bus ride, upper deck ticket for the game, a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Bus leaves ESY at 12;30. Bus will return to ESY after conclusion of the game, or at 3pm, whichever occurs first (to accommodate bus driver schedules).

Already have your ticket? Members can hitch a ride on the Y bus for $5, non-members $7.

Why should kids have all the fun of Summer Camp? Join us for Senior Fun Day at Camp Sherwin!

Enjoy a day of activities, hang around in the pool, or take a nature walk – the day is yours! Board the bus at Glenwood Y, Eastside Y, or County Y, or meet us at Camp Sherwin for classes, lunch, and more. There will be crafts, fishing, and nature walks, or you can choose to take a class or two (or all of them!).

WHEN: Thursday, August 22nd from 10am to 2pm.

This is a FREE Members Only event.

Registration is required, whether you ride the bus or use your own transportation. Please register for the location at which you’ll be catching the bus.
