February is Heart Month, and there’s no better time to get your blood pressure checked! Come to our free blood pressure check days at Erie YMCA locations during February to have your blood pressure checked and recorded by one of our Healthy Heart Ambassadors.
Please see us BEFORE working out for a more accurate reading. Other tips:
• Use the restroom. A full bladder can impact your blood pressure.
• Don’t smoke, exercise, or consume caffeine or alcohol for at least 30 minutes before reading.
