Bootcamp & Brunch

Bootcamp & Brunch is the perfect blend of movement, community, and connection! Hosted at DICK’S Sporting Goods Field, this special outdoor class combines the energy of Bootcamp with the strength and balance focus of Bootcamp Gold. Coaches will offer modifications and progressions throughout the workout, making it accessible for all fitness levels—whether you’re looking for a challenge or a supportive way to move your body.

After class, members are welcome to join us for brunch at a local restaurant. Food and beverages will be available for individual purchase.

Transportation will be provided, with a bus departing from the Eastside YMCA at 10:00 a.m. If you would like to drive yourself, class will start at 10:30am. Come for the workout, stay for the community, and enjoy a fun, social way to move and belong together.

Eerie Stories, Legends & Lore Walking Tour

Board the bus at Eastside (Sept 25) or Glenwood (October 9) for this fun walking tour of Downtown Erie. Space is limited to 25, so be sure to reserve your spot!

Tour duration/distance: Tours start at the Flagship City Food Court entrance, are about 1.5 hours long and about 1.25 miles in distance.

Tour route: The route we walk is almost entirely on city sidewalks that are wheelchair-friendly and handicap accessible.

Special needs: Tour Erie is committed to providing a fun, and positive experience to all people. If a member of your party has special needs, please let us know about any accommodations you need, in advance, and we will do our absolute best to meet your request.

Immediate application: Skills you can use right away in real-life situations.

Waterfront Walking Tour

Board the bus at Eastside Y for this fun walking tour of Downtown Erie. Space is limited to 25, so be sure to reserve your spot!

Explore Erie’s beautiful bayfront on a relaxed, private walking tour led by a local guide who knows the shoreline inside and out. You’ll learn about the War of 1812 and the Battle of Lake Erie, discover why sea‑creature sculptures decorate a freshwater harbor, and hear how local fishermen helped secure public access to the bay.

The walk covers about a mile, with an optional detour up to the skywalk for a stunning view over the bay. Join your Y friends in a scenic, story‑filled introduction to Erie’s history and waterfront.

Be sure to bring your lunch money, because after the walk, we’ll grab lunch as a group before heading back to the Y.

Tour duration/distance: Tours are 90 to 120 minutes long.The route is wheelchair-friendly and handicap accessible
