Soccer
Clinics – We offer various clinics throughout the year, both indoor and outdoor. Whether your kiddo is brand new and wants to try something new or wants to take their skills to the next level, youll get a kick out of our soccer clinics!
Youth Leagues – We have indoor and outdoor leagues played through the year at County, Eastside & Glenwood Park YMCAs. The league plays on Saturdays only and is played following a practice and game format that allows for two weeks of just practices, two weeks of mini practices followed by a game and then four weeks of games only. The goal of the program is for players to learn the basic skills and strategies of soccer; such as: dribbling, passing, shooting, formations, offense/defense, etc.
Adult Leagues – We have indoor and outdoor leagues played throughout the year (indoors at Eastside YMCA and outdoors at McConnell Family Stadium on the campus of Gannon University). Futsal is a variation of soccer adapted specifically for indoor play in a gymnasium. With a smaller, weighted ball, and out-of-bounds areas it allows for coed play of 6v6 while eliminating the safety issues of the walls. Our Outdoor Leagues are also coed and play 7v7 on turf during the Summer. While most register an entire team, you may register individually and we will do our best to get you on a team.
Love Sports? Become a Youth Sports Volunteer Coach! We are always in need of great coaches willing to make a difference in the lives of today’s youth. Your time is our most valuable asset. Volunteer coaches lead players through drills and games that build skills, develop coordination and enhance a love of the game. Adult CoEd Leagues
Indoor CoEd Futsal – Futsal is a variation of soccer adapted specifically for indoor play in a gymnasium. With a smaller, lightly-weighted ball, and out-of-bounds areas, it allows for coed play of 6v6 while eliminating the safety issues of the walls. Seasons consist of six (6) pre-determined regular season matches and then playoffs for top teams. Team Fee is $270. This league plays throughout the year in our Eastside YMCA gymnasium on Sunday afternoons/evenings.
Outdoor CoEd Soccer League – Football, Futbol, Soccer… whatever you call it – we have leagues for you! Our League is split into several divisions so that players/teams of all skill levels and abilities can enjoy the most beautiful game in the world! This league plays 7v7 (minimum 2 females at all times, no more than 4 males at a time, goalkeeper is gender-neutral and does not count towards gender count on field) on the beautiful turf at McConnell Family Stadium on the campus of Gannon University. Small-sided games are played width-wise on the turf and the fields are 35 yards wide (approx. 70 yards long). Season consist of six (6) pre-determined regular season matches and then playoffs for top teams. Team Fee is $400 (one-time fee, all costs included). This league plays during the summer on the turf field at McConnell Family Stadium on the campus of Gannon University on Sunday afternoons/evenings.
Registration Notes
While the majority of registrations are “Captains” entering a team, individuals can also register to be placed on a “House Team” with other individual sign ups. Team placement is not guaranteed for individual registrants, but we will do our best. No fee is due until an individual is placed on a team and the fee will vary dependent upon the number of players.
