Hope Martinson – Children’s Yoga Teacher, Certified Level 1 Asanas for Autism and Special Needs

Hope is a Children’s Yoga Teacher specializing in adaptive and accessible instruction for students with disabilities. She has been a yoga practitioner for 16 years and obtained her teacher training in 2019. She has two children diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Autism Society NWPA. She teaches group adaptive and children’s yoga classes at the Glenwood YMCA, and has taught yoga at Shriners Hospital for Children. Hope believes that the benefits of yoga should be available and accessible to EVERYBODY.

Julie Lewis – DMA, Certified Relax and Renew Level 1 & 2, Reiki Master/Teacher

Julie, DMA, is a certified Relax and Renew Level 1 and 2 (Advanced) instructor. She began her restorative yoga journey with her mentor Ledys Negron, who inspired her to become certified in the practice. She then trained with internationally known yoga instructor Judith Hanson Lasater. Julie loves restorative yoga, and understands how much need there is for this powerful, relaxing practice. People from all walks of life can benefit from it. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher, and with other wonderful Reiki practitioners, helps serve the community at the Glenwood YMCA’s Reiki clinics.

Additionally, she obtained an Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification through The Himalayan Institute and is recognized through the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). She teaches group classes and offers private yoga lessons and Ayurvedic consultations.
